In general, participating in contests is certainly not on my list of interests; however, I felt it would be an excellent opportunity to challenge myself while garnering a little bit of exposure (pun unintended).

I was raised Anglican, so the majesty of the Manchester Cathedral did not particularly take me by surprise. However, the architecture loving geek in me is always in awe of such grand structures. The older, the better.

There was a garden and a few hidden nooks here and there.

Walking around the grounds was as I expected – quiet. The few people I saw strolling the grounds where intentionally somber. Except these two teenage emo lovebirds I spotted taking full advantage of the peaceful ambiance.

Oh, to be young again!
